SIGs and X-BLOCKs
Second Semester- Part 2:
"Keep that tummy tight! 5 more to go!"...Just some of the "encouragement" I get from Pilates experts on Netflix. Sometimes all my fellow exercisers want to do is go for a walk or stretch! So that is what we most commonly do in my X-BLOCK.
I am still in Cinema for my SIG (Student Interest Group) and often watch all of the movies without comprehending a word that the actors say. I struggle with sitting still... Especially at the end of a long school day :)

Second Semester- Part 1:
My X-BLOCK is study hall since I will be running track & field in the spring. But whenever I don't have homework I usually attend Speedball! There I stand on the sidelines, cheering, catching the ball from rolling down the hill, and watching people fall on the ground. It's always a good time at AHS :)
Cinema is my current SIG (Student Interest Group) which is where we watch movies of all genres and critique them. Most recently we have watched, Edward Scissorhands, The Wizard of Oz, and True Grit.

First Semester:
An X-BLOCK isn't just your average P.E. class. I am in Ms. Roxy's swimming X-BLOCK and let me tell you, we have quite an adventure each class! For example, we enjoy playing games like "You fell off a cruise ship you idiot! Now don't get eaten by the aquatic honey badger!" It's one of our originals :) We also do some laps once in awhile for classic exercise!
My SIG (Student Interest Group) is Green Team. Currently we are learning more about our environment and different ways to use reusable energy. |
